Unfortunately there's no "Final Fantasy VX" release date announcement at Paris Games this week, there were however "FFVX" burgers, Dual Shockers reported.
"Paris Games Week attendees got a taste of Ignis' cooking, or the next best thing, I guess," the publication announced.
"At the event there was an official Square Enix food truck selling 'Final Fantasy XV' burgers.
The paddies came in Chocono and Bahamut flavor (chicken and beef, obviously), and they actually weren't half bad, which is surprising considering how terrible event floor food normally is."
While the release date has yet to be announced, there are reports surrounding the impending return of the hit RPG to the PC.
In a previous interview with GameSpot, director Hajime Tabata revealed that while details are being kept underwraps, announcements will be announced soon.
"At the very least, I can tell you that it isn't going to be released this year," "Final Fantasy XV" director said of the game's release date. "I think we'll be able to tell you when we're making the announcement around PAX Prime, at the end of this month."
Additionally,he hinted that the release date will most likely come in 2016.
"We can certainly say to people: it's not going to be 2017. It's going to be before that," Tabata teased.
While Square Enix has yet to comment on the supposed "Final Fantasy XV" PC release date, fans have launched a petition at Change.Org asking for them to reconsider the return of the game to PC.
"It's been a long time since we have seen a Final Fantasy game on the PC," the petition read. "With this petition, us PC gamers hope that Square Enix will have a good reason to revive Final Fantasy on PC since it is being developed on PC with DirectX 11."
While Square Enix chose not to speak about the PC release date yet, IB Times claimed that the giant studio may have been giving hints already.
"A teaser demo of Final Fantasy XV has been shown off, hinting that a PC version is in the works," the publication claimed.
Adding that, "'Witch - Chapter 0,' was played to show off the capabilities of Windows 10 and in particular DirectX 12, which Microsoft said is capable of compiling six times more polygons than DirectX 11."
In addition to the release date news, Game Rant reported about "Final Fantasy XV" progress.
Tabata reportedly shed light on the apparent outfit of Noctis Lucis Caelum and his team in the game.
"Noctis is a member of the royal family and the other three characters are parts of various Lucian national organisations and they are each wearing the specific battle dress relevant to their individual stations," Tabata said in a Silicon Era forum. "In the Kingdom of Lucis where our heroes reside, the color black has historically been treated as a special color."
"Because of this, the attire of the royal family and those in occupations closely tied to them are unified by having black as a base coloring. This part of the lore is the reason why the outfits of all four main characters are black. For the finished game we also intend on having their clothing having effects in battle and not just being a part of the world and its background. So watch out for that too!"
With no official release date yet, fans continue to hope and speculate that Square Enix will finally decide to bring "Final Fantasy XV" back to the PC.
