Just a few days ago Andrew Garfield hinted that he and his girlfriend Emma Stone have called it quits.
The 32-year-old actor was spotted leaving with another woman from a bar in Sydney. A passerby asked him where the 26-year-old actress was and he replied, "We're not together anymore."
New reports revealed that "The Amazing Spider-Man" co-stars have officially ended their four-year relationship. The two took a break from each other back in April because of work. The actor was busy filming "Silence" by Martin Scorsese in Taiwan while the actress was shooting "Aloha" alongside Bradley Cooper.
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone reunited after a few months which dismissed the breakup rumors. However, it's not too long that the two went their separate ways again. The last time that the couple was seen together was back in August.
According to Us Weekly, they called it quits a couple of months ago.
"They still have a lot of love for one another and they are on good terms with each another and remain close," an insider revealed. "It just wasn't working."
The exes have been very quiet about their relationship.
"I never talk about this stuff for this exact reason - because it's all so speculative and baseless," Stone explained to the Wall Street Journal. "I understand the interest in it completely, because I've had it, too. But it's so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don't talk about it."
The source claimed that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are on good terms, but that does not mean that they are not suffering from their breakup.
Since they reportedly called it quits a few months ago, the actor seems to be having a meltdown and this could be a result of their split up.
During an interview with The Independent, the American-English actor confessed how he was feeling.
"I'm not OK. I am not OK. That feels really good to say to you," he told the interviewer. "I'm really not all right. I'm in the struggle of being a person. I haven't got anything figured out."
