James Franco made several fans confused after showing off a snap of himself with Emma Watson's face tattooed on his neck earlier this week.
"The Interview" star posted a photo of himself showcasing his neck that shockingly had a noticeable tattoo of the "Harry Potter" actress' face on it. Things might have gotten a bit awkward if the actor didn't tag Cheyenne Randall, an artist well known for photoshopping fake tattoos on photos of people.
The ink on Franco's neck that showed Watson's face and name was confirmed a fake but not before causing a bit of a stir among fans. He even declared his love for the actress' legendary character in the caption.
"James Franco has a tattoo of Emma Watson and I'm so confused," a fans posted on Twitter after finding out about the said body ink.
"I <3 Hermoine. Ink by @indiangiver," he captioned the shot, making E! News hilariously question the sincerity of this statement because he couldn't spell the famous witch's name right.
"James and I work together on these images from time to time," Randall reportedly told MTV News when asked about the fake photo.
"This time around I was looking for another girl to be his love in this fictitious scenario, and just happened to recently watch 'This Is The End' with Emma in it," the artist continued, adding that he "just went with it, and it fit well."
James Franco and Emma Watson previously worked together in the apocalyptic comedy movie, "The Is The End," where she played herself. They have since kept in touch over the years, with Franco supporting the "Noah" star with her recent gender equality campaign, HeForShe.
This isn't the first Randall tattooed famous people's faces on Franco's body. He used Lana Del Ray's image on his neck in the past as well.
Which one fits James Franco neck the best? Emma Watson's face or Lana Del Ray's?
