Viewers left Nick Burkhardt cradling the woman he loves dying in his arms right after discovering his mother's dismembered head in a box in his living room.

While teasers for the upcoming season show Nick fuelled by vengeance, he will reportedly find the light when he finally meets his son. Catch the "Grimm" season 5 premiere live stream to find out what happened to him after losing all of his family!

According to David Giuntoli in an interview with Yahoo! News, Nick's life will get even more complicated in the upcoming season.

"Nick's life gets even worse than it was in the finale five seconds into the new season," he said. "He's gonna go off the rails and you can't really blame him, can you? He's lost the most important woman in his life."

However, there will definitely be a saving grace for the Portland PD detective.

"We will see Nick as a dad," he revealed. "And pretty quickly because as we saw last time Adalind's pregnancies don't work quite like human pregnancies. I have been working a lot with a beautiful couple of twins who are like 6 months old."

Although it "doesn't make Nick happy" the birth of his son will reportedly "center him." Although it won't necessarily stop him from wanting to avenge his mother and girlfriend, having to take care of his son (albeit together with his former arch nemesis) will help him put things in perspective.

Find out just how fast this pregnancy will conclude in the "Grimm" season 5 premiere live stream!

"Without the baby, Nick would go completely off the rails," Giuntoli added. "He may not have consented to having this baby, but he does think it is his responsibility."

He also revealed that there haven't been any sign of Bitsie Tulloch's return to the series, suggesting that Juliette will indeed remain dead after Trubel shot her with a crossbow.
