Speculations about Prince Harry turning to his ex-girlfriends as a possible future wife have been running around the rumor mill ever since the royal was spotted partying with Cressida Bonas during his birthday bash last month.
But is the model and actress ready to become a princess?
According to previous reports, the fifth-in-line to the British throne's sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, isn't a big fan of Bonas.
"It's not just that she thinks Cressida isn't a love match for Harry. It goes deeper than that. She doesn't want her in the family," a source reportedly told OK Magazine.
Despite the Duchess of Cambridge's alleged dislike for her, however, she reportedly stayed good friends with the prince after they broke up in April.
Now Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend seems to be coming out of her famous former love's shadow by focusing on her career. Now her first ever TV role seems to give her a chance to try out the life of what people speculated her to become in the future - a princess!
Metro reported that the 26-year-old landed a spot in "Downton Abbey" creator Julian Fellowes' new period drama. She will make her TV debut as Patience Oriel in a three-part adaptation of Anthony Trollope's novel "Doctor Thorne."
Mirror likened this stint to becoming an actual princess, as she wears "a long regal gown" and gets "fussed over by attendants."
Will this be the kind of the life she'll have if she indeed becomes Prince Harry's wife? Of course the regal gown would be traded in with tweed jackets and hats but she will indeed get attendants and bodyguards if she does marry into the royal family.
Whether or not she will, it seems that Prince Harry's former girlfriend is still currently busy creating a name for herself in the acting world. According to Daily Mail, she recently joined Benedict Cumberbatch, Nicole Kidman, Kit Harington and Josh Hartnett in Danny Boyle's "Children Monologues" at London's The Royal Court Theater last Sunday.
