Playstation game console addicts can expect the fourth model of the Sony machine at midnight Friday Game Spot reported Monday.
"Out of the box, you can immediately experience everything PlayStation Plus for PS4 has to offer and have access to millions and millions of songs through Music Unlimited," Eric Lempel, vice president at Sony Network Entertainment said in a statement on the Playstation blog. "The $10 credit can be used towards anything in the store including new PS4 launch titles, such as Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Killzone Shadow Fall.
Better yet, buyers who purchase the $399.99 machine will get a $10 Sony Entertainment Network wallet credit, which can be used in the Playstation store, a 30-day free Playstation Plus membership trial, and a 30-day free Music Unlimited service trial.
"The network now expands across a wide array of digital entertainment including incredible multi-player gameplay, availability of full games day and date, streaming movies and TV shows, and a premium cloud-based music service," Lempel said in a statement.
The price for the Playstation Plus costs $49.99 a year after the 30 days are up. Users can pay $9.99 a month if they don't want the annual option.
The device also comes equipped with 11 apps including Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, Hulu Plus. Crackle, Crunchyroll, Epix, NBA Game Time, NHL GameCenter LIVE, Redbox Instant by Verizon, Vudu, and YuppTV.
Sony is also interacting with Playstation consumers about the product through social media to promote the product and get them engaged.
"Look for the voucher when you open your PS4 box and let us know what you're excited about playing, listening, or watching by using #PS4 on Twitter," Lempel said in a statement.
Sony's previous game console models are the PSone, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3 in various sizes. There is also the hand-held Playstation Vita.
