Consumers will soon be available to purchase Motorola's Moto X smartphone Moto Maker Customization tool when it becomes available on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile in the future CNET reported Monday.
"From your clothes, your dog, your body, your car...You customize it all to express your personal style. Why should your smartphone be any different?" the company said on their blog.
The phones will be available with the new digs for $99.99 with a 2-year service contract. Consumers will be able to choose from a variety of front, back, and accent colors, determine how much memory they want to have, and tack on more accessories the official Motorola blog reported.
The Moto X measures 4.7-inches, has a 1,280-by-720 display with 316 pixels per inch, has a round back with Motorola's X8 mobile computing system consisting of computing chips, a 1.7 gigahertz Qualcomm snapdragon S4 Pro, a natural language processor, and contextual computing processor that controls the devices sensors PC Magazine reported.
Consumers will also be able to control their Moto X smartphone device with their voice when it is released Wednesday. The phone also has an option called a feature allowing consumers to launch the device's camera app, and an ability to save its battery when a user chooses to operate it.
The company introduced its news Moto G device three months after the company released its Moto X, which was considered to be the company's biggest release since it completed a deal with Google.
"Our primary goal was comfort," Rick Osterloh, Motorola's senior vice president of product management told PC Magazine.
"(And the resulting Moto X screen was the one the majority of smartphone users wanted to carry. Motorola tried to get as much screen (as humanly possible) on the device and finished with a display that covers over 70 percent of the surface of the phone."
