Camren Bicondova's Selina Kyle gets more exposure in the current "Gotham" season.
According to "Gotham" season 2 episode guide, the Fox TV show's sophomore run will be more about the rise of the villain.
Selina Kyle, who will turn in to Catwoman, is both a hero and a villain in the comics.
In the past few episodes, Selina's emotional strength has been tested. The last of which is when she lost her friend Bridgit. Before that, she was barred by Alfred from spending time with Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz).
As comic book fans know, Selina and Bruce have very rich history with each other. Will the "Gotham" version of Selina follow Alfred's order to stay away from her friend? The girl who will turn into Catwoman is not that type.
"I think she'll come around," Bicondova told Variety when asked the same question.
"I think she'll figure out a way to see Bruce again, because at this point, she's iffy about Gordon. What she doesn't realize is that the GCPD is changing with Captain Barnes in charge, so when the GCPD changes, that affects Gordon. So he can't necessarily do the things he used to be able to do, and in turn, he can't help Selina the same way he used to. So when he promises her that he'll watch out for Bridgit, and he doesn't deliver, she's upset."
Although Selina will find a way to meet Bruce again, she doesn't have the ways to stay away from trouble. She will have no other choice but resort to bad activities.
"I think it would be easy for her to turn to the dark side," she said in the same interview which was held after the latest "Gotham" season 2 epispde.
"I don't think she necessarily wants to. That's where she'll be struggling... She's going to have to turn to herself - at this point, she's going to need to remind herself that she has raised herself and taught herself things that adults don't even know in Gotham, so she's going to need to remind herself that she's gotten this far on her own and she can go further on her own, because she is very independent for her age."
