Hello, Taylor Swift? Adele's latest music video for her song, "Hello" had just dethroned "Bad Blood" on the most number of views garnered in just 24 hours spot on Youtube. [Scroll down to watch the video]

Adele is magic. Just a simple "Hello" and the whole world forgot about all the "Bad Blood" brought by Taylor Swift.

In only 24 hours, the music video for Adele's newest song reeled in about 27.7 million hits after being released on Youtube. The video views for the British singer's music video shattered the record for Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood."

Even more impressive is that Adele had only released the song as a surprise last Friday with only a very short clip shown at the X Factor UK as a teaser. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift debuted her track in May during the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, The Daily Mail reported.

After Swift debuted "Bad Blood" in the said awards, the singer had continuously posted teaser "posters" for the music video in her social media accounts.

Two days since Adele's song was released, "Hello" has been viewed about 90 million times - about one million times per hour for the first 48 hours of its debut.

This type of activity is reportedly rare, according to Youtube's Head of Culture and Trends, Kevin Allocca.

"It's not data we track often," Allocca told the Wall Street Journal. "It happens occasionally when you have something really big where you have a lot of people talking about it. (There's) a lot of interest in a very concentrated amount of time."

Allocca also explained that it takes more than just a catchy song to reel in record-breaking views on Youtube.

"Two of the biggest cultural things that we have are music and film," he said. "When a new music video comes out like this, it's a cultural phenomenon. It's not just people sampling the song. They want to talk about it and bring their take to it."

Adele's new song, "Hello" is from her forthcoming album entitled, "25." It comes five years after her chart-topping album, "21."

In an open letter published in her social media accounts, the "Rolling in the Deep" singer apologized for the long wait on her new album.

"25 is about getting to know who I've become without realizing," said Adele, who recently gave birth to a baby boy named Angelo. "Sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened."
