Hollywood's "Bonnie & Clyde," Beyoncé and Jay-Z have long been rumored to be struggling in their relationship and on the verge of a divorce.
Although this had not yet been proven, a new tell-all book will reportedly reveal issues that have been troubling the couple for years.
According to reports, a new unauthorized biography entitled "Becoming Beyoncé: An Untold Story" by J. Randy Traborrelli will dish out explosive details on Beyoncé and Jay-Z's troubled relationship.
Among the said details is the long-sought truth about Jay-Z's alleged cheating scandal with Rihanna, which left a dent on his relationship with Beyoncé.
According to Traborrelli, the false rumors were fabricated by Rihanna's publicist (who was connected to Jay-Z's publicist) to "boost her career."
"Beyoncé didn't know what to make of this, and it actually ended up breaking them up for a time," the author claimed. "They spent maybe a year apart from each other because Beyoncé just wasn't sure of what to make of the situation with Rihanna."
Despite this, Traborelli said Rihanna and Beyoncé have remained friends.
In addition, the "Becoming Beyoncé" author also spoke out about the elevator scuffle between Jay-Z and Beyoncé's sister, Solange Knowles after the Met Gala in New York back in 2014. The assault was caught on surveillance video and quickly became viral.
"I think it's safe to say the only people who know for sure what happened are Bey, Jay, Solange and the bodyguard who were in the elevator," Traborelli said.
"It was a whispered married couple's argument that would have gone by completely unnoticed had not Solange overheard it," he added. "Solange has always been Beyoncé's biggest protector."
Meanwhile, some gossip sites claim that the release of the unauthorized biography could only mean one thing - Beyoncé and Jay-Z's relationship is at an end and heading out towards a divorce.
"Not only could it (the book) reveal some things about Bey and Jay that they didn't about each other, but it will also reopen old wounds and bring up some pretty dark stuff from their past," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
