‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Spoilers: Michael Fassbender Moves Director Bryan Singer To Tears

| By

An emotional scene featuring Michael Fassbender's Magneto in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" has reportedly made director Bryan Singer cry.

According to Christian Post, the part that made Singer emotional was one Fassbender requested to continue a scene that was supposed to end. Fassbender asked Singer to let him continue the scene which resulted to an effect that moved Singer.

"I've never done that before... It's a heartbreaking scene, not a typical comic book movie scene at all, so let's hope it makes the cut. But after he [Fassbender] did it, I went up to him, hugged him and said, 'Thank you, Michael, for that gift. Now I need you to do it again.' And he did it... with full emotion," Singer said in an interview.

Christian Post, in its report, speculated that the scene may have something to do with Magneto becoming one of the Apocalypse Horsemen where, ultimately in the end, will have to die and sacrifice himself for the X-Men.

Another speculation the report highlighted is a scene involving Magneto and his lover, Mystique, where Magneto will be mourning the death of the shape-shifting mutant. Fassbender, in a previous interview, shared that Magneto has truly fallen in love with Mystique to the point the he "leaves his metal ways behind him."

In a previous report, Movie Pilot did confirm that "X-Men: Apocalypse" will be the final film outing of Michael Fassbender, which quite confirms Magneto's death. The report highlighted that with the return of "First Class" character Quicksilver in "Days of Future Past" and with the ties between the super speed mutant and Magneto revealed, it might mean that Quicksilver will step up to become the new leader after his father's death.

The report added that Singer may make use of "Apocalypse" to "cement the paternal relationship between Magneto and Quicksilver," and by "passing the baton," Singer will open the door to a whole, new X-men universe.
