Michael Jackson's only daughter, Paris Jackson, is rumored to have married her boyfriend, Chester Castellaw and netizens are questioning how the Jackson family is handling her decisions.
The said speculations started when the teen changed her name on Instagram, adding her beau's last name to hers. She started dating her 18-year-old boyfriend last April.
Starpulse also reported that the Jackson clan wanted Castellaw to sign a $2 billion pre-nup agreement before Paris Jackson married him. An insider allegedly told Radar Online that the family just wanted to keep the legacy safe.
"That's Michael Jackson's legacy, and there's no way they want any part of it at risk!" the source was quoted as saying, adding that the supposed engagement was a "dilemma" for the whole clan.
"Family members want Paris to get going on her prenup, but they're walking on eggshells. They don't want to get her angry or, worse, have her cut them off."
According to Metro, however, the 17-year-old promptly denied the rumors. She captioned a new photo, "ps: I'm not married and no, I'm not pregnant lmao." This came after her page was flooded with various congratulatory messages and inquiries of whether she got knocked up or not.
Not all netizens were happy about Paris Jackson getting married at such a young age, however, targeting her family for not guiding her into making proper decisions for her future.
A commenter at Starpulse asked why the Jacksons weren't "encouraging her to go to college" and "get an education" before getting married.
"Why would this family even entertain the idea of an 18 year old getting married?" the comment continued.
"Paris has no idea what she is getting into, most teenagers date, go to college, have fun before considering marriage, sounds like this guy is rushing her into it," another noted.
