It's been over three months since Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their divorce, but they've managed to remain together for the sake of their three kids.
According to reports, they are trying the "conscious uncoupling" technique of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.
"They feel like they have to be mature adults for their children's sake and that they will figure out the healthiest way to co-parent," an insider told Us Weekly. "They want the kids' lives to stay the same and to not have to change just because they aren't going to be married anymore."
It looks like they are living up to their word because despite the Hollywood hunk's cheating scandal with their former nanny Christine Ouzounian and leaked photos with ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, the estranged husband and wife can still be seen together even without their kids.
Just recently, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted shopping in Pacific Palisades. According to Mail Online, the two were seen hitting up Gelson's supermarket and the 43-year-old actor showed off his muscles as he carried groceries into the car.
They appeared like any normal married couple, which could mean that they have already moved on from all the heartaches. After shopping, the brunette beauty reportedly headed to church services probably to give thanks for all the blessings and to find inner peace.
"Nothing has changed. They are working together and are keeping it amicable," an insider told People. "This is something they have been working on for over a year - and they continue to be strong unit."
According to the website, Ben and Jen are doing this not only for their children, but also because they care about each other.
A few weeks ago, the star of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" reportedly ditched Christine Ouzounian so he can focus on fixing his relationship with the former "Alias" actress.
"There is still love there that they are trying to figure out," a source revealed to Hollywood Life.
"The kids are the great equalizer that they want to stay together for, so it's a daily battle to see if it will work out. It is 50/50 at best." So far, it seems that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are slowly winning their battle amidst the divorce and cheating scandals.
