'Arrow' Season 4 Spoiler: Before Sarah & Thea, Lazarus Pit Also Resurrected This Scary Character?

| By

"Arrow" season 4's main villain Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) is advertised as extremely scary, someone with no moral.

Show's executive producers said in previous "Arrow" season 4 spoilers that this villain is different from the past archenemy of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).

Fans have seen how 'different' Darhk is. He has a mystic power which even the Green Arrow was surprised with. Where did he get that kind of ability? Turned out, it was something Oliver and his friends are familiar with.

John Barrowman, who plays season one main villain Malcolm Merlyn, was asked by Entertainment Weekly for "Arrow" season 4 spoilers regarding his character's relationship with Sara Lance who is the latest to be revived by the Lazarus Pit. There, he somehow teased how Damien Darhk came to be.

"He's not afraid of her because, in his mind, he killed her once, he can kill her again," John Barrowman told EW.

"But he doesn't know what she's come out of the pit with. Everybody comes out of the pit different. People come out with a bit of every soul that has been put in the pit before. Some parts of those souls take over. Thea's got a bloodlust. Damien Darhk's got something else. What will Sara come out with?"

Darhk's appearance is well received by fans so far. They might appreciate even more in future "Arrow" season 4 episodes as McDonough teased his character's past and what turned him into the monster that he is will also be explored.

"You'll find out about [Darhk's] personal life, which comes as a bit of a shock to everyone," McDonough told MTV who was present in the CW Network show's set.

"Without giving it away, it's a pretty good one. It's really good. And, obviously, the Green Arrow's gonna figure that out and use that against me also."

Lazarus Pit will be featured again next week for the episode called "Beyond Redemption."
