At long last a newsworthy information has arrived.
When-Will.net confirmed that "Attack on Titan" season 2 release date is going to happen next year.
While the exact date has yet to be announced, at least fans can now sleep at ease knowing that the highly anticipated series is going to make it next year.
And in line with the release date news, fans are now clamoring to hear details about the anime's plot.
According to Kpopstarz, "Attack on Titan" season 2 will see the fifth story arc of the manga, with the synopsis stating,
"The fifth story arc of the 'Attack on Titan,' the 'Clash of Titans' arc encompasses the Titans appearance inside the wall, which forced 104th Trainees Squad to a brutal battle against those mysterious Titans. Unknown to them, those Titans are actually members from their group. Eren, shocked, battles them in a decisive battle."
And while nothing has been confirmed yet, Latin Times has its own speculation noting PIXISSUUU magazine's claim that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will be adapting manga's chapter 73, which saw the death of Captain Levi.
Accordingly, while trying to save his new squad called, Shiganshina trio in chapter 73, Captain Levi met his end.
Additionally, the second installment of the anime series will also see more of Ymir and Krista Lenz's story arc.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 release date is said to arrive in 2016.
