The battle of legacy continue for Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Francis (Toby Regbo) leading them to an unlikely ally.
Mary struggles to find a way to cover up the real health condition of Francis, most especially now that King Antoine (Ben Aldridge) is now back in Court.
However, time is not a friend to the Queen of Scotland, which forces her to make drastic decisions sooner rather than later. A move that will make her enlist the help of the very last person she ever thinks of getting help from.
Francis on the other hand, will also do something about his condition by engaging in a sword fight with one of the three men who questioned him about his looming health.
While it's certain that Francis will meet his demise in "Reign," there is no certainty as to when he will meet his end, showrunner, Laurie McCarthy revealed.
"We're now dramatizing a health crisis for him," she explained. "Francis, unlike the previous seasons, is going to move forward believing that his death may be imminent and he will make decisions accordingly."
