There are a lot of discussions of who the next James Bond is gonna be.
There are people who root for Idris Elba as the next Agent 007 while a poll bets on Tom Hardy. “Outlander” cast Sam Heughan has another choice for the most popular spy.
He wants himself to be the next actor to portray the bad-ass agent.
Sam Heughan, who hails from Scotland, also made a stunning revelation about his connection to James Bond. He said he once played as son of Roger Moore in “A Princess for Christmas.”
Moore played six James Bond films namely in "Live and Let Die," "The Man with the Golden Gun", “The Spy Who Loved Me”, “For Your Eyes Only”, “Octupussy” and “A View to Kill.”
“Outlander” season 2 air date is yet to be announced and some fans who happen to be on Heughan's feed enthusiastically welcomed the actor's suggestion. Some are quick to edit his face onto James Bond pics.
Will Sam Heughan make a good James Bond? It is probably too early to talk about it as Daniel Craig still has two films in his contract with the latest one title “Spectre” expected to come out this month.
Right now, Heughan and co-star Caitriona Balfe are busy filming “Outlander” season 2. The show's official Twitter account gave fans a sneak peek of the new location.
“Outlander” season 2 air date according to series developer Ronald Moore is around March or April. The second season will pick up shortly from the events that occurred in last season's finale.
