Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence have a lot of things in common - a love for reality TV shows, their sense of humor and dating rumors involving Bradley Cooper, who recently admitted he got a bit "creepy" towards the "Trainwreck" star during the recent Time 100 Gala.
During her "Saturday Night Live" opening monologue, Amy Schumer talked about her recent encounter with Bradley Cooper wherein the "Hangover" actor repeatedly told her to stay and chat every time she would get up to leave, which to Schumer, basically meant she was dating the actor.
"I don't know how Hollywood works but I'm pretty sure that I'm dating Bradley Cooper," the actress joked.
Of course, it was all part of the actress' monologue to entertain the audience and there was no way to prove it really happened.
Schumer also talked about it during her appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon," joking that she even changed her Facebook status to "In a relationship" after meeting Cooper.
"I was talking to Bradley and he's like really charismatic and he stares in your eyes and asks you questions -- which no man does," Schumer joked.
However, in an interview on "The Howard Stern Show," Bradley Cooper, who have had three movies with Amy Schumer's BFF, Jennifer Lawrence, admitted he got a little "creepy" during the Time 100 event.
"All that stuff of her getting called and me saying no, no, no - that really happened," Cooper admitted. "I thought I was getting a little creepy because I was making her stay,"
The actor explained he might have been overcompensating for his "awkward exchange" with Schumer during the MTV Movie Awards, wherein the 34-year-old comedienne was yelling his name across the red carpet.
"It was like, 'Who is this person screaming at me?'" the actor said.
On the other hand, Bradley Cooper said he was neither dating Amy Schumer nor Jennifer Lawrence, adding that his relationship with both actresses was a hundred percent platonic.
"She's (Schumer) very attractive," Cooper said. "She wasn't (hitting on me) either."
He also shot down rumors of himself and Lawrence secretly dating.
"It just didn't happen," Cooper said. "It's not the way we are together."
