With less than three weeks prior to the release date of the highly anticipated "Fallout 4," Bethesda has decided to reveal gameplay details.
In report by PC Gamer, game director Todd Howard discussed helpful details about the fourth installment to the post-apocalyptic game.
Reportedly, when "Fallout 4" arrives it will feature a better relationship between the humasn and the robots as Howard pointed out the each player can now choose between 12 companions, whose gender could be customized depending on the player's preference.
"You can have one [companion] at a time, and we wanted to have a lot of different archetypes and we track how they feel about you," game director Todd Howard explained of the gameplay.
Additionally, players are allowed to have more freedom with their companions.
"With the humans, it can even lead to romances, and that is regardless of whatever gender you're playing."
Game companions reportedly include, Dogmeat, Mr. Handy, Preston Garvey and the new female character, Piper.
Also speculated is the idea that "Fallout 4" gameplay will see a more intimate relationship between humans and robot.
However, such detail has yet to be confirmed and will only be revealed once "Fallout 4" release date arrives.
Instead it's confirmed that the players are now allowed to ditribute their points between the SPECIAL (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, Luck) system, which will reportedly helo improve the overall gaming experience of "Fallout 4" gameplay.
"When you're coming out of the Vault, if you've decided to go right to the 10 on a stat, and lower on your other ones, you can be picking some really cool perks," Howard said.
"And we've found that playing the game over time, this gets us some really cool play styles, and it changes what you want to pick when."
And while there's more freedom for players, Howard also discussed the limitation of "Fallout 4" gameplay.
"Either your nudity or porn, that kind of stuff, or you're taking assets from Halo," Howard told IGN. "Though, Microsoft might allow that. We'd have to get approval. But like, generally, if someone is using assets from another game, we have to say, 'No, you can't do that.'"
"Fallout 4" release date is due on Nov. 10, 2015.
