And while the said long distance relationship did not work out, Victoria and David Beckham's eldest son was reportedly really eyeing on Selena Gomez instead.
As per Metro, the former couple already unfollowed each other on Twitter.
While Brooklyn's desired to be with Selena Gomez had reportedly died down after the "Good for You" songstress claimed that Brooklyn is too young for her, OK! Magazine reported.
"He was smitten with Selena even while he was dating Chloe, which was one of the reasons they broke up," the insider claimed.
However, Selena was said to be "too hooked on Justin Bieber at the time."
And while she was "flattered" with Brooklyn's attention, she was "not conviced" that it would work out between them.
"She says Brooklyn's sweet and all, but he's just too young for her," the insider revealed. "In a few years time that could change, but for now she only sees him as a friend - and it's breaking his heart!"

According to Us Magazine, Victoria and David's son is now dating French model/actress Sonia Ben Ammar.
"The aspiring model, 16, and Sonia first met over spring break in the Maldives, an insider tells Us. The brunette lives in Europe and spent time with Beckham in L.A. this summer," the publication claimed.
