Amir Khan's next fight was supposed to be against Manny Pacquiao.
However, he is no longer pursuing it saying the Filipino fighter's camp is stalling. So, he sets his sight on Kell Brook.
The problem now is Brook is yet to respond on the challenge from his fellow British boxer. A lot of boxing experts are excited for the showdown between these two. However, the two camps are yet to strike a deal.
Among those who are disappointed with the lack of development of Amir Khan's next fight is former world champion Brandon Rios. He is particularly disappointed with Brook who he thinks is dodging the challenge of Khan.
"This mother just saying names to get his name out there, but he ain't stepping up to the plate," Rios said as reported by Sky Sports.
"He's fighting guys who can't hit, like Frankie Gavin and some other guy I never heard of [Jo Jo Dan]. Those are guys nobody ever heard about.
"He's calling names out so they say 'oh Kell Brook's this, Kell Brook's that, they're dodging him, they're scared of him!," Rios continued. "Nobody's scared of that guy!....I'd knock that mother out, take his belt and be happy about it!
Rios added that Brook is afraid of Khan because he knows he will lose.
"He also won't fight Amir Khan because he knows he'd get his a** handed to him," he exclaimed.
It can be remembered that Khan and Brook had a feud on media after the former called out the current IBF welterweight champion. Khan said he will fight Brook if the latter will step up his game. It didn't take time for Brook to respond.
"Are you even still fighting?" Brook tweeted. "If so just let me end your career.. for the fans?"
