Harrison Wells will return to Central City.
If the cliffhanger in this week's episode will serve as a "The Flash" season 2 episode guide, it won't be long before fans see Tom Cavanagh longer in the show again.
Season two's Harrison Wells is different from the one people saw in the first season because the former is from Earth-Two which the world STAR Labs team learned about after the creation of the wormhole.
It was not shown in the last episode what Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin's reaction were after sthe Earth-2 version of their boss landed. Will they welcome him after everything they went through?
Grant Gustin said that more than anyone else, it is Barry Allen who feels good about the arrival of Dr. Wells.
"It's not Eobard Thawne, it's actually Harrison Wells," Gustin stressed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "It's the actual guy that Barry always idolized and looked up to, but [he's] from a different world... Barry is wanting to trust him and he's actually, in a way, quicker to trust him than he was to trust Jay."
Barry's reception for Wells will be much welcoming compared to his reaction on Jay Garrick's arrival. This Earth-2 hero, according to reports, will serve as mentor to Barry. The Scarlet Speedster was skeptic at first about Crimson Comet reasoning that the last person who tried to teach him turned out to be evil.
Gustin added that Barry and the new Dr. Wells will have a "very interesting" relationship.
"We're shooting [episode] nine now, and the layers are still getting peeled back," he said "The relationship has not defined itself yet, fully."
The CW Network superhero TV series will return next week for "The Fury of Firestorm."
