Xiaomi MIUI 7 Global Release Begins Next Week! See New Features And Compatible Devices Here!

Xiaomi confirmed it will be begin its MIUI 7 global release next week.

Announced on Xiaomi's website Xiaomi smartphone owners will finally receive a stable version of its MIUI 7 starting Oct. 27 through over the air update through Update app or manual update by downloading the custom ROM on its dedicated page on the company's website.

"We are really excited to announce MIUI 7 global stable build for MIUI fans all around the world. With two months of testing and optimization, MIUI 7 global stable version is to roll out from Oct. 27, 2015. Yours by design! Get ready for upgrade!," Xiaomi said on its blogpost.

The Xiaomi MIUI 7 which was launched in August will be made available for the Xiaomi Mi 2, Mi 2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi 1S, Redmi Note, Mi Note / Mi Note Pro, Mi 4i, Redmi 2 and Redmi Note 2, according to Android Headlines.

Xiaomi MIUI 7 offers a refined UI with new four themes that include Rose, Pink Blush, Ocean Breeze and High Life and brings features such as XXL Text, Child Mode, Baby Album, Showtime, integrated Opera Max's data saving technology and sleep detection, Tech Times reported.

In addition, one of Xiaomi MIUI 7's highlights is its improved battery consumption which the company claimed that it was reduced at 10 percent and a 30 percent faster than the previous MIUI 6 "with substantially improved response time," Beta News reported.

NDTV added that Xiaomi MIUI 7 has exclusive features for Xiaomi compatible devices owners in India. Xiaomi has also partnered with Opera Max to provide Data Saver in India to reduce data usage at 50%.

"Some of the "Made for India" features include Visual IVR, which is an attempt to reduce the time required to navigate automated voice menus when calling a customer service hotline. Xiaomi's Visual IVR will show the voice menu on the phone's screen, so users can tap on the selection quickly. The company revealed that the Visual IVR in MIUI 7 has been further improved with support for more than 50 companies' customer support numbers," NDTV wrote.
