Ed Sheeran's concert movie, "Jumpers For Goalposts," will be premiering in British cinemas this Thursday and it will show the Grammy-nominated singer's gig at London's Wembley Arena last July.
According to Nottingham Post, the British singer impressed 80,000 people who watched his "Multiply" show and will most likely amaze thousands more when the film premieres.
Aside from his performances, it will also show behind-the-scenes footage of his tour last July, particularly the road to his Wembley Arena performance.
On the other hand, Xpose.ie revealed that fans will also get to see the "Thinking Out Loud" singer being drunk in the film.
He reportedly hopes that fans will "enjoy seeing him in 'various states of hangover'" during the movie.
"Wembley kept coming up in conversation and I just thought, 'I have to go for it, to be up there with all the other acts that have played there,'" he reportedly told Popsugar Australia. "I was very nervous the first night but fine as soon as I got the first song done... (Fans will) get to see a bit more of everyone in my teams, who worked so hard to make it happen too. And me in various states of hangover as well!"
It looks like Ed Sheeran's concert movie isn't the last time fans will see him in the big screen. According to Mirror, the "Photograph" singer might just show his acting talents as well.
He reportedly landed a "speaking part" in "Bridget Jones Baby" the third instalment in the Helen Fielding seires. He will supposedly star alongside Renee Zelwegger, Colin Firth and Patrick Dempsey, with a source reportedly telling The Sun that he was "really keen" for the movie.
"He's got experience playing himself in Home And Away and is not daunted by the prospect of starring alongside Renee," the insider added. "Bridget Jones is a huge British film so he feels nabbing a cameo is a bit of a coup. He just hopes he'll make the final cut."
Could he pull off this new venture or should Ed Sheeran stick to concert movies instead?
