‘Scream Queens’ Season 2 Already In The Works? Evan Peters Transferring From ‘AHS?’

| By

Ryan Murphy's new freshman series' high ratings reportedly impressed Fox executives enough to give the green light for a "Scream Queens" season 2. Who could be joining the group next season?

According to TV Series Finale, the new comedy-horror anthology has its delayed viewership rating going for it, getting an 80% improvement on its ratings.

"With all of my work, it always takes a while for people to get it," Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter about his works. "It goes from, 'What the hell is that?' to 'Oh, I like that.' So hopefully, given the opportunity, the same thing will happen with 'Scream Queens.'"

If Fox would indeed give the go signal for "Scream Queens" season 2, Murphy already has the story ready. He reportedly already pitched a "broader second season" which will have a wider age group range to Fox TV Group chairman Dana Walden.

"He's already pitched Walden on a broader second season, which would feature a cast of all different age groups," the article said.

According to a past interview, only four survivors will be left in the fictional Wallace University.

"It's similar to 'American Horror Story' in that it's anthological but different in that at the end of the first season there will only be four characters out of 25 left," the showrunner previously revealed. "And those four in season two will go on to a new horror genre - like a sorority is a horror genre to me, it's a place where there were horror movies in the '80s like 'Sorority Row' - and they will go on. That's the format of the show."

Although the identities of the remaining four survivors is still unclear, a cast member from Murphy's other hit show would love to join "Scream Queens."

"I'm in love with this show. It's crazy. It's so funny," Evan Peters, who plays Mr. March in "American Horror Story: Hotel" recently told Vulture. "I love how it pokes fun at the horror genre. It's insane. I don't know how they write all that dialogue. It's pretty impressive."

His girlfriend, Emma Roberts, is also part of the new show's cast.

"I'd love to be on the show," he continued. "I haven't said anything to [series co-creator] Ryan [Murphy] yet. I don't know if he'd want to put me on there? But next time I see him I'll be like, 'Hey, man. What's going on with my role on 'Scream Queens?'"

Should Evan Peters join "Scream Queens" season 2 or stick with "American Horror Story" instead?
