Andre Lyon (Trai Byers) decides to get baptized to become a new person without sins.
But right before the ceremony, Andre told his mom Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), "I'm not a good person, mom. I've done horrible things."
"So have I, Dre," Cookie replied, as he pats her son on the cheek. "God knows your heart."
The last episode saw Andre dug up Vernon's (Malik Yoba) dead body with his wife Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) as Lucious (Terrence Howard) was able to caught them and thanking them for saving his life.
Before Rhonda was able to accidentally kill Vernon, Lucious was supposed to pull the trigger on him.
"Welcome back to the Empire, son," Lucious welcomed Dre in episode 5.
Meanwhile, Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) is going to pull a trigger on someone.
"You're swimming with a lot of cash and they're going to come after you," Laz Delgado (Adam Rodriguez) said in the promo.
The next scene saw Cookie pointing a gun to a man, whose face was not shown in the clip.

"Cookie and Anika work with Laz to organize a big block party to launch their company, an event that will be highlighted by a signature anthem written by Hakeem, who finds himself entering into a tender romance with the lead singer of his girl group.
