The first two "The Flash" season 2 episodes saw STAR Labs get busy figuring out what "Earth-2" is.
The new season of the CW network superhero TV series will deal with the aftermath of the wormhole that Barry Allen's time travel created in last season's finale.
Earth-2 and multi-verse mysteries will still be the focus but on "The Flash" season 2 episode 2 titled "Family of Rogues," Barry (Grant Gustin) and his team will deal with a familiar villain. Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), who is not a meta-human, returns next week and this time, he has his father with him.

By the fifth episode, STAR Labs team's attention shift to Earth-2 again as a super-powered creature visits Central City. The team don't know what she can do and they are being cautious. Is the visitor an ally or another villain sent by Zoom? The synopsis for episode 5 titled "The Darkness and the Light" reads below.
"DR. LIGHT COMES THROUGH THE BREACH - Barry (Grant Gustin) learns a new breacher, Dr. Light, has come through the portal and sets off to capture her. Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) tells Barry that Dr. Light was not a threat on Earth-2 and that Barry can reason with her. However, during a fight with The Flash, she blinds him and drops some shocking news about Zoom. Meanwhile, Barry and Patty (Shantel VanSanten) go out on a date."

Dr. Light's appearance in the show was first reported by TV Line last month. There are two characters who used this name. The first one is Arthur Light who is a villain and the second one is a female named Kimiyo Hoshi, who will appear in "The Flash" TV series. There is no details yet on who is the actress behind the new character.
"The Flash" season 2 episode 5 will air on Nov. 3.
