Even if she's dating someone new now, she seems to have a hard time letting go of the past. The 27-year-old singer's alleged new boyfriend is Travis Scott and she's scared of falling for the 23-year-old rapper.
"Rihanna is trying not to let herself fall for Travis. She's afraid to ever let herself be vulnerable again the way she was with Chris Brown, and she sees a lot of Chris in Travis," an insider told Hollywood Life. "They are both cocky, alpha, and have tons of swagger, especially with the ladies."
The "Diamonds" hitmaker may appear tough on the outside, but she's really a sensitive woman. "Rihanna likes to think of herself as this badass bitch, who no man can tame, but all that came apart when she was with Chris," their source said.
"She was crying all the time, letting him cheat on her and then taking him back, calling him and texting him obsessively," their insider added.
To avoid falling for her rumored new boyfriend Travis Scott, Rihanna has been hanging out with other men.
"She's maintaining flirtations with other guys just to shield herself from getting too caught up in Travis, but truth be told, she does have a pretty big crush on him!" their source revealed.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, the Riri revealed her true feelings for Breezy.
"I don't hate him. I will care about him until the day I die," she confessed. "We're not friends, but it's not like we're enemies. We don't have much of a relationship now." It seems that Rihanna's heart still belongs to Chris Brown.
Travis Scott is reportedly having a hard time proving to the Bajan beauty that he's serious with her.
"He really digs her and doesn't want her to ever think he's another player," an insider told Hollywood Life. "He wants her to leave all that relationship bullsh** she's dealt with in the past, and open up her future and go on a journey with him."
