After her breakup from Big Sean, Ariana Grande seems to have become a more empowered woman.
During an interview with V Magazine, the 22-year-old singer revealed that she didn't have a hard time with her split up from the 27-year-old rapper.
She also advised other girls to be happy on their own and not let other people dictate their happiness. In fact, the "Bang Bang" hitmaker doesn't want to be associated with any guy even if she's now reportedly dating her backup dancer Ricky Alvarez.
"I would prefer to be referred to as just Ariana. But then some people were being like, what a hypocrite, because now she has a new boyfriend," she said.
"It doesn't matter whether I'm on my own or not. Whatever I decide to do with my body, with my heart, and with my life, I can still be my own person," the pop star added.
Just recently, Ariana Grande surprised her fans when she drastically changed her usual half-pony brunette hair into platinum blonde. The "Problem" hitmaker has been teasing her followers on Instagram for a week by blurring her cover art for her new single entitled "Focus" before she revealed her new hair color.
However, it seems that she only dyed her hair for her music video because she was seen with brown hair recently as reported by MTV.
Apart from going platinum blonde, the former Nickelodeon star seems to have changed her genre from pop and R&B to opera.
Ariana Grande had collaborated with different artists in the past and most were pop singers including Iggy Azalea, Jessie J, Nicki Minaj, and Nathan Sykes.
This time, she again surprised everyone by singing alongside the legendary classical tenor Andrea Bocelli. Despite not knowing how to speak Italian, the singer did an awesome job singing an Italian opera song.
