Victoria and David Beckham are undoubtedly one of the most famous and powerful couple in sports and entertainment industry.
And while many are envious of their fame and money, the couple revealed that they are just any other parents who are overprotective of their children.
Tallking to ABC, football superstar David Beckham revealed that he and designer wife, Victoria constantly check on their son, Brooklyn's social media activities.
With 4.4 million followers on Instagram, David is making sure that he controls what's being posted in his son's accounts.
"We control everything that he posts, everything that he does, and it's the same with our other kids," David explained referencing Romeo, 13, Cruz, 10 and Harper, 10. (the three younger kids however have no public social media accounts yet).
And while he admitted to being strict on his kids' upbringing, David claimed that he is not controlling what his kids want to do in their life and he allows them to decide what to do.
"I love football, but I'm also very passionate about photography and film," Brooklyn admitted.
"I'm keeping my options open right now."
And while Brooklyn has opened his options, David confessed that one of his sons had also told him that he's unlikely to play football as well.
"One of my boys turned around to me the other day and said, 'Daddy, you know, I'm not sure I want to play football all the time..." David revealed in the interview.
"It broke my heart a little bit," he added.
Apparently, the unnamed David and Victoria Beckham's son is not comfortable with the fact that he's going to be compared to his father all the time.
"Every time that I step onto the field, I know people are saying, 'This is David Beckham's son', and if I'm not as good as you, then it's not good enough," David told.
"I said, 'Okay, stop right there... You play because you want to play.'"
And while David is a little upset with his son's dilemma, Victoria Beckham is actually glad that not everyone in the family is interested on being a football player like her husband.
In fact she reportedly felt like a "dagger in the heart" when her only daughter, Harper, told her that she also wanted to play football.
"I have three boys who want to play football, come on, let one of them want to be in fashion or dance," she quipped.
In an interview with Daily Mail, the 16-year-old son of the Beckhams admitted to Miss Vogue that while his parents are "really cool" they are also very "strict."
Apparently, Victoria is very strict with the house rules "constantly telling us" not to play football indoors.
"They're both strict, but about different things," Victoria and David Beckham's son revealed.
And while they are strict in not playing ball inside the house, they're not like that when it comes to curfew.
"My parents are really cool and I never get in that late anyway,' Brooklyn Beckham confessed.
