Maisie Williams Reveals Jon Snow's Fate In 'Game Of Thrones' Season 6

| By

"Game of Thrones" season 6 is scheduled to arrive in April.

Following season 5's cliffhanger, with Jon Snow seemingly dead, fans are still divided on whether or not the beloved character is really out of the series.

Main stay Maisie Williams, who plays Snow's step sister Arya Stark, gamely shared her knowledge of Snow's fate in "Game of Thrones" season 6.

In her interview with Christian O'Connell's Absolute Radio breakfast show as reported by Daily Mail, the 18-year-old "Game of Thrones" star crushed fans' heart when she bluntly said that Jon Snow is definitely dead and not coming back for season 6.

"All the time people are asking me if Jon Snow is alive and the answer is no! He's dead! I promise," she revealed. "I think you're in denial about it for a long time when you see the death of a big character but I can't help but think it makes for such a great storyline!"

And while she shared that everyone is just in denial with what might have been the biggest death in the "Game of Thrones" series, Maisie Williams explained that that's just how the way it is in the show, no one is safe, anyone can die.

"It keeps you coming back for more. My favourite character was Ygritte. But then she died!"

Despite Maisie Williams' statement claiming that Jon Snow is really dead, there were leaked photos of Kit Harington's Jon Snow seemingly filming a scene dressed in Stark regalia.

"Having ditched his blacks, the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, was standing tall in Stark clothes with his sword on his hip as they filmed on the remote Northern Ireland hilltop," Daily Mail revealed. "He wore his long locks in his signature man bun and appeared to be deep in conversation as they gathered around several expensive-looking pieces of camera equipment."

And while Williams is most certain that Jon Snow is dead, Kit Harington himself has fueled the speculations that he is going to return in "Game of Thrones," Vanity Fair reported.

"Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over," he said. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects."
