The upcoming Blackberry Priv specs revealed ahead of its official launch.
The first Android-powered Blackberry device is finally competing in the market dominated by Apple and Android devices soon. Though a release date has not been specified yet, some of the Blackberry Priv specs and features have been already revealed on Blackberry's website.
"It has the authentic BlackBerry keyboard, legendary security, streamlined communications and productivity, combined with the wide world of Google PlayTM store apps. It has been engineered with the world's finest technology, and packaged in an ultra-thin, ergonomically perfect device with a keyboard hidden by SmartSlide technology," Blackberry Priv described on the website.
According to its dedicated page on Blackberry's website, the upcoming Android device follows the new trend of dual-curved screen at 5.4-inch. When released some time in November, it's one of the smartphones that packs a monstrous battery of 3140 mAh and boasts an "extraordinary audio quality."
The Canadian tech giant kept its well loved physical keyboard with an onscreen keyboard. On its camera side, it features a Schneider-Kreuznach® certified camera.
It was also mentioned on the website that the phone introduces DTEKTM by BlackBerry which alerts Blackberry Priv users when their privacy has been compromised.
Reportedly, Balckberry Priv's page also serves as its pre-registration site in which Droid-Life reported that those who signed up on the page will be notified when will the device be available.
NDTV added that multiple tech sites have already go their hands on the Blackberry Priv confirming that it has 5.4-inch screen along with a QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution display, and under the hood is a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, It features 32GB of internal storage, but notably pre-installed software accumulates10GB of the onboard storage. While other features include, microSD card expansion, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and Micro-USB port (USB 2.0), and an 18-megapixel rear camera.
