While it's not certain whether Mary's husband, Francis will face his death this episode, showrunner, Laurie McCarthy, revealed that the King will definitely suffer with a serious health crisis this season, which could also lead to his death.
McCarthy said, "We're now dramatizing a health crisis for him. Francis, unlike the previous seasons, is going to move forward believing that his death may be imminent and he will make decisions accordingly."
