There were rumors coming out that Cameron Diaz is pregnant and allegedly having twins with husband Benji Madden.
"When they found out they were expecting twins, Benji and Cam were in shock, but completely overjoyed," an insider told Life & Style.
"Although she's just a few weeks in, Cameron is hoping her babies turn out to be a boy and a girl. She's excited to start shopping for the nursery," their source added. The 36-year-old rockstar has a twin brother Joel Madden, who is the lead singer of their band Good Charlotte and the husband of reality TV star Nicole Richie.
Fans of Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden were thrilled to find out that the 43-year-old actress is already pregnant. However, latest reports revealed that she is still desperately trying to conceive a baby.
"Having a baby is all she talks about!" a source told OK! Magazine.
She is doing everything she can to get pregnant and even got some tips from good friend Nicole Kidman.
"Cameron is very open-minded - she even tired bathing in Aboriginal waters in Australia to boost fertility, which she heard about from Nicole. Unfortunately, it didn't work, so not she's turned to IVF," their insider said.
According to the website, the IVF treatment has some side effects and it can be seen in the actress' appearance. Last month, the star of "Sex Tape" was spotted with a puffy face when she went out on a lunch date with her sister-in-law Nicole Richie. She's known to have a toned body, but she appeared bloating during that time.
Despite the side effects, Cameron Diaz won't stop undergoing treatments until she gets pregnant.
"She's totally committed to making this pregnancy happen," their source said. Just a few weeks ago, many fans were worried that the actress will lose her twins when she was seen having a major tumble.
According to Hollywood Life, the "Annie" star was in a hurry to get into the car to avoid the paparazzi who were asking her if she's pregnant.
"Maybe she was so tripped up by the baby questions that that's what caused her to trip off the curb, not the rain," their source said.
