Emilia Clarke goes by so many names in "Game of Thrones" - Daenerys Targaryen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains and others.
She had to deal with a lot of horrible things in the HBO hit show - including being raped by her on-screen husband on her wedding night. Now, she adds a new title to her resume - "Sexiest Woman Alive."
The "Sexiest Woman Alive 2015" title was given to Emilia Clarke by the editors of Esquire Magazine, around midnight on Monday.
"Emilia Clarke is unforgettable in Game of Thrones and was hands down the number one choice of Esquire's staff, friends and family," Editorial Projects Director for Esquire, Lisa Hintelmann, told the Associated Press.
According to Esquire's Benjamin Markovits, a lot of Emilia Clarke's sexiness comes from her "balanced" personality.
"Half pal, half dominatrix. Half kid sister, half sexy queen," Markovits wrote. "The movie star who plays, in her real life, an anonymous, funny beauty. This is the gorgeous balance of Emilia Clarke,"
In Emilia Clarke's interview, the actress said she did not want to get used to the "star treatment" even after the huge success of "Game of Thrones."
"I'm trying everything I can not to be freaky," Clarke told Markovits.
"By freaky she means letting the star treatment go to her head," Markovits wrote.
Meanwhile, a few days prior to being tagged as this year's "Sexiest Woman Alive," Emilia Clarke posted an Instagram photo with her on-screen husband, Jason Momoa, who plays Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones."
"Well I guess the sun rises in the west and sets in the east then huh? Paris fashion week just kicked off!" Clarke captioned the photo of her and Momoa cuddling and laughing.
