It seems that Liv (Rose McIver) being grumpy and "going bro" in "iZombie" season 2 impressed several Rotten Tomatoes critics.
The sophomore CW show was recently tagged as "100% Certified Fresh" by the popular TV and film review website.
Executive producer Rob Thomas thanked the critics from site through Twitter but was quick to add in a quick jibe as well.
"Please - no more critics review #iZOMBIE. We're good right where we are," the showrunner tweeted, along with a leak to the show's review page on Rotten Tomatoes.
All of the 10 reviews written as of press time got fresh ratings and the relatively new fantasy series an average rate of 8.3 out of 10. On the other hand, the 65 normal viewers who also rated the show gave it a 95 percent with an average rating of 4.7 out of five.
"iZombie" season 2's Rotten Tomatoes reviews were all in the positive range with no rotten tomatoes thrown by professional critics.
"Witty without being annoying and funny without resorting to obnoxiousness, everything in iZombie just clicks so beautifully - from its just-quirky-enough mythology to some truly gut-punch dialogue - that only the most cynical will be able to resist," Michael Broussard from We Got This Covered.
Top critic Jeff Jensen from Entertainment Weekly praised the premiere as well.
"The show does so many things well. The performances, the finely drawn characters, the fast, funny banter, the thoughtful consideration of class, the inspired stabs at consumerism and materialism," Jensen pointed out.
Another review for "iZombie" season 2 counted by Rotten Tomato called it out as a season to look out for.
"I'm looking forward to what looks like a great season to come," Carrie Raisler from AV Club noted.
Watch the second season of "iZombie" on the CW, every Tuesday, at 9 p.m., to find out what's making all these critics excited about the series.
