'Teen Mom' 2 Star Jenelle Evans Showing Signs Of Giving Up Son's Custody?

| By

"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans' battle with her son's custody has been long discussed in the show.

And while she completely believes that she should be taking care of her son, she admitted to reunion host Dr. Drew Pinsky that her relationship with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith is on the verge of breaking apart.

"I just want my family together, and I'm sick of starting new relationships. I want to settle down forever."

But while she wanted to live a normal life, her relationship with Griffith doesn't seem to fit well.

"I want to get along with the Nathan that I used to be best friends with," explained Evans, who due to violent altercations involving Griffith was already arrested twice this year.

The "Teen Mom 2" star even admitted that her partner has been neglecting her and her kids.

"He just hasn't been around lately and it hurts because I know the type of person he can be - really loving and caring and affectionate. But he hasn't been lately. He's been stand-offish because we did have an argument."

This is when Dr. Pinsky tried to make Jenelle Evans understand how it's not right for her 6-year-old son Jace and one-year-old son Kaiser to live in a house where a "cycle of domestic violence" is present.

"You understand you're caught in the cycle of domestic violence," Pinsky told Evans, who then asks Evans if she thinks fighting for Jace's custody is the best thing to do given her condition now.

"I'm getting traumatized just hearing the story," Pinsky told the "Teen Mom 2" star. "I imagine a little boy in the middle of a household where there is all going on would feel like he was in the middle of a tornado. Why do you want to put Jace in the middle of that?"

While Jenelle Evans did not say anything about giving up her son's custody, her admitting to these problems are definitely a sign that she's trying to do the right thing for her kids.
