Latin Times reported PIXISSUUU magazine's claim that the second season of the anime will be adapting manga's chapter 73, where the death of Captain Levi saving his new squad called, Shiganshina trio, will be the main story.
Such reports have yet to be confirmed though, but according to Crunchy Roll more details will be revealed soon, since the anime's release date is already expected next year.
