Amy Schumer is one hilarious girl who almost always stops at nothing in her jokes. During her SNL monologue, however, the "Trainwreck" star seem to have touched a nerve when she slammed Khloe Kardashian's recent weight loss.
This weekend, Amy Schumer hosted "Saturday Night Live," bringing her brand of humor for the first time in the show. Traditionally, SNL hosts kick off the show with hilarious (at times, awkward) sketches and monologues. However, Jennifer Lawrence's new BFF broke away from all that and did a standup set, discussing the Kardashians.
During her opening monologue in SNL, Amy Schumer said little girls nowadays need more role models.
"All they have, literally, is the Kardashians," Schumer said. "Is that a great message for little girls? A whole family of women who take the faces they were born with as like, a light suggestion?"
"We used to have Khloé. Khloé was ours, right?" Schumer went on. "Whenever there's a group of women, you identify with one of them, right? ... But Khloé - she lost half her body weight."
Amy Schumer went on to say that all the weight Khloé Kardashian has lost is equivalent to one Kendall Jenner.
"Khloé lost half her body weight. She lost a Kendall, and we have nothing. I want good role models," Schumer joked.
The comedienne's comments on Khloé Kardashian's weight loss seem to have touched a nerve because the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star later on Tweeted a cryptic message that sounded like a reply to Schumer's alleged body-shaming.
"No need 2 tear down others just to make urself feel bigger," Kardashian wrote. "It actually makes u quite small. I'm on a healthy journey. I don't care 4the hate."
"Let's uplift one another!!! Happy Sunday! Stay smiling!!!" she added in a second Tweet.
