Amy Schumer Gets A ‘Hostile Text’ From Kevin Hart Before SNL; Jennifer Lawrence & Aziz Ansari Got Her Back

| By

During the weekend, Amy Schumer hosted Saturday Night Live (SNL) for the very first time and needed all the help and support she could get.

Which is probably the reason why Jennifer Lawrence and Aziz Ansari were spotted during an SNL after party. So why was Kevin Hart sending the "Trainwreck" star a "hostile" text message?

It's a privilege in anyone's life to be hosting SNL (especially if you're a comedian), so it's only natural to get nervous.

Backed by two of her newest BFFs, Jennifer Lawrence and Aziz Ansari, Amy Schumer was prepping for her time in the SNL stage when the hilarious Kevin Hart sent her a strange text message.

"If you get nervous during your monologue just tell the audience that you know me. I promise it will help," Hart joked. "Or you can FaceTime me but I probably wouldn't be able to pick up because I'm busy doing stuff,"

Amy Schumer screen captioned the message, posted it on her Twitter account and wrote: "Hostile text."

"Just spit balling here... I'm trying to help," the second half of Kevin Hart's text read. "You know what f**k it... you will be fine... I hope... God Bless... K Hart Out,"

The "hostile text," of course, was obviously meant as a joke between the comedians.

After a few media outlets misinterpreted the message as an actual show of hostility between Schumer and Hart, the "Inside Amy Schumer" comedian took to social media again to clarify the issue.

"Hey, click bait. Kevin's text was funny. He was messing with me. We are friends. Booooo," Schumer wrote.

Meanwhile, right after Amy Schumer's SNL gig and her text exchanges with Kevin Hart, her new BFFs Jennifer Lawrence and Aziz Ansari were seen exiting the SNL after party at the Wayfarer Restaurant in New York, Vanity Fair reported.

Ansari was photographed getting a piggy back ride from Lawrence while the "Hunger Games" star wore a cropped top, showing off her flat stomach. The two were in no doubt present in the said after-party to show support for Schumer.

Amy Schumer, Jennifer Lawrence, Aziz Ansari and Ansari's former "Parks & Rec" co-star, Chris Pratt recently spent a working weekend together, filming silly Instagram "short films" and dog-walking.
