Rumors of Michael Fassbender and girlfriend Alicia Vikander calling it quits have making the rounds lately.
Irish Independent even claimed that the 27-year-old Swedish actress had no problem dealing with the breakup.
"Alicia Vikander isn't sitting at home crying into her ice cream after splitting with Michael Fassbender," the publication claimed.
Rumors went as far as claiming that Alicia Vikander has already moved on with another guy named, Armie Hammer.
"This means that Alicia Vikander is ready to move on, with Armie Hammer or with some other Hollywood stud that isn't Michael Fassbender," Kpopstarz reported.
However, such rumors have been put to an end when Michael Fassbender decided to talk about his girlfriend.
In an interview with The Sun for his film "Steve Jobs," Fassbender who played coy with his relationship, can't stop gushing about his girlfriend.
According to the Irish hunk, Alicia Vikander, who he met while filming "The Light Between Oceans" in New Zealand is a very professional actress.
"When she arrived on the set, I could see the determination there and the focus, the discipline and the hard work and then trying to keep it up all the time," he said of Vikander. "She's a very good actor, disciplined...she works hard and gives great performances."
Mirror previously confirmed that Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander have brokern up claiming, "Us Weekly reports that the pair - who were last photographed together in May at the Monaco Grand Prix - have now called time on their relationship."
Fassbender was reportedly insulted when Alicia Vikander chose to drop from "Assassin's Creed" movie to star opposite Matt Damon in "Bourne" sequel instead.
"Alicia Vikander has now been set to star in the next instalment of the Jason Bourne saga opposite Matt Damon,Deadline can confirmed.
"She will not, however, be starring in Justin Kurzel's 'Assassins Creed' pic opposite Michael Fassbender."
