Among the biggest question when "Suits" season 5 episode 11 airs is - who turned in Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams)?
The mid-season finale of the USA Network TV series dropped the biggest shocker by finally getting the young con lawyer arrested. Mike's fraud identity has been the biggest storyline in the show since the first season and last month, his cover got blown.
Everyone was shocked by this development and one immediate question they had was, who was the snitch? It is also not sure yet whether it will be settled in "Suits" season 5 episode 11 next year.
There are a lot of theories but in the writer's room, there was almost a chance they decided to keep the mystery untouched.
"Much of the writers' first inclination was to have a big "whodunit," the characters wondering," series creator Aaron Korsh told Yahoo TV.
"And I was surprised by that, because I was thinking how we're gonna deal with it is more the matter at hand than who did it. But we figured out a way to kind of combine both things. So we'll ultimately answer how it happened, but it is not the end-all-be-all of the first few episodes back. We tried to come up with a good answer."
Rachel's parents are among the characters "Suits" fans speculate as Mike Ross's snitch. Korsh thinks this angle is interesting.
"Exactly. Or Rachel's father for all we know. They could've been doing this to protect their child," Korsh told TV Guide.
Korsh also points to the priest Mike Ross talked to in the latest episode as the probable whistleblower.
"The rules of confession are that he absolutely cannot hand Mike in, in my mind," he told TV Line after the airing of the latest epsiode.
"That doesn't mean he didn't. But it's very interesting."
"Suits" season 5 episode 11 is expected to air by January next year.
