The biggest mystery of the second season is automatically the attack on lead character Annalise Keating (Viola Davis).
But of course, it would be wrong for the show to share "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 spoilers regarding this storyline.
Here is another that should be discussed. Since the first season, there is this 'intriguing' connection between Annalise and her student Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch).
Their direct connection started when Wes was caught by her professor in front of the corpse of Sam. This second season, their relationship improved dramatically, including those sexy stares and what could be sexual tension whenever they find themselves alone with each other.
Will fans see these two getting involved romantically? Nowalk said there is a chance.
"I don't want to say one way or the other, because it's really open to interpretation," series creator Peter Nowalk said when asked by TV Line for "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 spoilers regarding Annalise and Wes' intriguing relationship.
"Some people might look at that and see two very lonely, vulnerable people who need someone in their lives. And neither of them can reach out to the other. Some people might see sex in that moment. It can be all those things, and the characters are probably feeling different things in different moments"
Nowalk did not provide anymore "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 spoilers though. He just said things will be messy.
"I don't think any relationship can be pigeonholed into one thing," he added.
"It's a mentor-mentee - and it's messy, especially given everything they've been through and the secrets they know about each other. It could go in any direction."
