‘South Park’ Season 19 Episode 4 Air Date On Oct. 14; Season 18 Blu-Ray, DVD Go On Sale

Fans who tuned in for "South Park" season 19 episode 4 were disappointed when no new episode debuted this week. But don't worry, the studio said its air date will be next week, Oct. 14.

The show normally airs a new episode every Wednesday but this week was an exception. But why wasn't there a new episode this week?

"There are three 'dark weeks' during Season 19 show run, and this is one of them," South Park Studios said in a blog post.

No further explanation was given however.

Reportedly, the other season 19 "dark weeks" will be on Nov. 4 and 25. Check out the full schedule here.

"South Park" season episode 4 will return on Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.

Last week's episode, titled "The City Part of Town," the show tackled gentrification which some outlets took as an allegory for its reinvention.

In other "South Park" news, the studio also announced that season 18 is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD.

"All ten uncensored episodes from 'South Park's' innovative 18th Season are packed into this exclusive 2-disc set."

Wrapped in collector's packaging, the season 18 Blu-Ray and DVD sets went on sale Tuesday Oct. 6. It will reportedly feature mini commentaries from the show's creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker as well as social commentary and deleted scenes.

A season 18 deleted scene, titled "Cartman's Lies," was posted last month on Comedy Central's YouTube channel. Check it out below:
