Sony has finally unveiled its list of free games for PS Plus members for the month of October and November.
Last month it was speculated that "Super Meat Boy" will be offered free for PS Plus members for the month October as it was slated for an Oct. 10 release for PS4 and PS Vita. It was later confirmed by Team Meat that the game will be free at launch.
"We know this has been a long time coming but better late than never. Expect to be playing Super Meat Boy on your PS4 and PS Vita later this year," Team Meat Meat co-founder Tommy Refenes wrote on PlayStation Blog.
"It's going to be free on PlayStation Plus at launch. That's our way of saying, 'Thank you for waiting patiently' to all those PlayStation fans that reached out to us over the years only to get back a 'we can't do it, sorry' response. We love you guys and girls and we're so happy that you can finally play Super Meat Boy on your system of choice!"
Team Meat's "Super Meat Boy" will be joined by "Broken Age" for the aforementioned gaming devices.
In addition to PS Plus free games for the month of October, "Unmechanical: Extended" has been listed for PS3 and PS4 consoles through cross buy support, and "Kickbeat" and "Kung Fu Rabbit" for PS3 and PS Vita, according to PlayStation Blog. On the other hand "Chariot" is exclusive to PS3 only. These free titles will roll out throughout the month of October for PS Plus members until the first Tuesday of November.
After slacking on the list of free games "Drive Club" Play Station Plus Edition has been removed since Oct. 06, 2015, announced by Sony on its Play Station blog, VR reported.
