Xiaomi Mi5 was rumored to carry a cheaper price than most flagship devices.
According to gadget leaker @Leaksfly, the Chinese tech giant retains its cheap price on its upcoming flagship device. Meaning the Xiaomi Mi5 price like its predecessor, could start at a $320 price tag, MobiPicker reported.
Techno Buffalo added that this price applies on its 16GB version and could go up to $400 for the 64GB variant.
Rumors claim that the Xiaomi Mi5 will feature high-end features and will be the first device to run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 paired with 4GB of RAM. The base unit is expected to come with a 16GB internal storage, and a 64GB variant.
As we've previously reported the upcoming Xiaomi Mi5 release date could be some time in early 2016 or December if the Snapdragon 820 goes on an early production.
That being said, speculations of a Mediatek Helio X20 chipset is also in tow as it was reported to be released by the end of 2015. While on the other hand, Snapdragon 820 will be released to developer on January 2016.
Along side with the powerful chipset, the Xiaomi Mi5 has been rumored to pack a 5.2-inch screen display (1920 x 1080) with Gorilla Glass 4 for its screen protection; a 16MP rear snapper and an 8MP front camera; and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Xiaomi MIUI 7.0 on top of it,

On other Xiaomi news, the company recently announced PickMi doorstep pick up and drop service in India at just Rs. 189 inclusive of tax which will cater all Mi products, NDTV reported.
