Will Katy Perry And John Mayer Get Married Next Summer? Couple Talk About Having Babies

| By

Katy Perry and John Mayer were spotted at a wedding last month which confirmed that they are back together.

The on-again off-again couple looked comfortable and happy together. They were holding hands while sitting next to each other at the wedding of their good friend Allison Williams and Ricky Van Veen.

"Being at Allison's wedding made Katy and John realize they've got something very special. They are ready to take things to the next level," an insider told Life & Style via NZ Herald.

The 30-year-old hitmaker and her 37-year-old boyfriend are already at the right age to settle down so it isn't surprising if they decide to tie the knot soon.

In case Katy Perry and John Mayer decide to get married, this will be her second time walking the altar. She was married to actor Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012. It will be the "XO" singer's first time to ask a girl to marry him which means that the "Roar" hitmaker is special to him.

"After their last breakup in July, John realized he made a mistake letting Katy go," their insider revealed. "Katy wanted kids, and he wasn't ready, but now he's told her he's on-board." According to their source, the two are now in a good place even if their relationship didn't run smoothly before.

Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend agreed to what the "Dark Horse" singer wants, but he has one condition. "Before they have a baby, John wants to be married," their insider said. "Getting married isn't as important to Katy, but since it is to John, they've talked about tying the knot by next summer."

During an interview with The Daily Telegraph early this year, Perry opened up about falling in love again. "I don't want to end up bittersweet. I have to evolve, I have to continue to push people's perceptions of me," she said.

Katy Perry also talked about having children (most probably with John Mayer). "I'm still growing up, I'm still learning about myself. When I become a mother I just want to become a mother and be dedicated to that," she said.
