Ever since Disney and Pixar announced back in March that there will be "Frozen 2", different plot rumors and theories have been coming out - from Elsa falling in love with Jack Frost to introducing a new villain who is as evil as the Duke of Weselton.
During an interview with HitFlix, directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck shared their thoughts on the "Frozen 2" plot rumors. According to fan theories, Rapunzel and Flynn's cameo in the 2013 animated film could mean that Rapunzel is the cousin of Elsa and Anna. The King of Arandelle's fears for his eldest daughter could have been brought about by the kidnapping of his niece.
Lee and Buck talked about the possibility of Elsa and Anna being related to popular fairy tale character Rapunzel. "Fascinating. I love that one. That's all I'll say. Their imaginations are wonderful!" The "Frozen 2" directors didn't confirm nor deny about the plot rumor, but some fans were not thrilled about the twist.
Elsa was born with powers to manipulate ice and snow that's why some people think that Anna may also have a secret power since the new Queen of Arandelle got her power since birth. Jennifer and Chris revealed that the princess also has a secret power.
"Her superpower is love. That's Anna's superpower," Buck said. "You know, like a mama bear can raise a car off their kid with their super strength, love is very powerful," Lee added. In a separate report from Movie Pilot, they claimed that Anna's superpower is strength.
According to the website, the princess is quite strong for a girl who spent most of her life indoors. In the first movie, she can be seen climbing up the mountains and even knocking out Hans with just one punch. In an interview with MTV, Chris Buck revealed that they are more careful in writing a plot for "Frozen 2" because the kids watch them over and over again.
"We have two very strong female leads in 'Frozen,'" Buck explained. "We will keep that going in the next one. We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with," he added.
