The 22-year-old daughter of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman recently got married.

However, the Hollywood superstars were reportedly no where to be found during the eventful ceremony.

So where were Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman during Isabella's wedding?

According to Daily Mail, the adopted daughter of Cruise and Kidman wed her British boyfriend Max Parker in a simple Scientology ceremony in London on Sept. 18.

While many wondered why in the world Isabella's parents were notably absent during her wedding, the publication reported that the former Hollywood A-list couple was "banned" because of Bella's fear that her parents' attendance would cause a "media circus."

The 22-year-old daughter of Cruise is now a make-up artist at Vidal Sassoon in London, while her husband, Max Parker is said to be an IT consultant.

While he lives in a nearby Scientology headquarters in East Grinstead, West Seussex, Parker is not a practicing Scientologist.

The wedding thought to be simple was reportedly held at the Dorchester in Mayfair, where Tom Cruise paid for the expenses.

While both Tom and Nicole were not allowed to attend the wedding, Isabella's family are said to be very supportive of her decision.

In fact, Nicole reportedly Isabella and Max for a private dinner way before the wedding.

"Isabella and Max met in London through friends. The ceremony was low-key but very expensive," the source alleged.

Adding, "Tom picked up the bill and paid for everything, but it was decided that neither he nor Nicole should attend as it would have turned the whole event into a circus.

Nicole was actually involved with the wedding preparations and she did have a private dinner with Bella and Max. But she didn't go to the ceremony. Also, the animosity between Tom and Nicole was probably a factor."

Both Connor and Isabella chose to live with Tom Cruise, who they shared the Scientology religion. And while Scientology was reportedly the main reason why Kidman was not invited in the wedding, the "Eyes Wide Shut" actress has however insisted that there's no rift between her kids nor with Cruise.

"They live with Tom, which was their choice...I've chosen not to speak publicly about Scientology. I have two children who are Scientologists - Connor and Isabella - and I utterly respect their beliefs," Kidman said of her family.
