Carmelo Anthony is a name that will forever be associated to several NBA trade rumors, real or fake.
New York Knicks struggled big time last season and there are reports that the former Syracuse star wants out of the team.
The 2003 third overall draft pick answer those NBA trade rumors once and for all.
"Carmelo Anthony says "hell no" when asked if he thinks he'd get to a point where he'd ask for a trade this year. "I already came this far." - ESPN's Ian Begley wrote on Twitter.
"For me to get to that point and decide this is not what it's going to be -- I already came this far," he also said after Monday's practice as per report by News Day. "That doesn't even come across my mind at this point."
Many reports claim Anthony disapproves of the team's 2015 fourth overall draft pick Kristaps Porzingis. While the NBA trade rumors don't bother Melo, what he is disgusted about his alleged ill feelings towards the 20-year old Latvian.
"There's a long list," Anthony said when asked what's bothering him regarding the trade season.
"The draft pick was one. Me waiving my trade clause is two. Me not wanting to be here is three. Just every day it was another team that I was going to be traded to. I was in everybody's trade this offseason, so after a while, at first it's like OK, I know it's not true, it's stupid. Then, after a while, it gets old.
"Fans are asking, you've got to deal with that everywhere you go. So things like that start to get overwhelming at times."
Anthony signed to play for his hometown team in 2011. The last season was a disaster for them as they not only missed the playoffs, they also recorded a franchise worst 17-win season.
